Monthly Meetings 

TGS' monthly performance meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month at Agora Internet Cafe in the Fontana Shopping Center at 51st & Memorial from 3-6 PM.  The meetings are free and open to the public.  When we started off we were meeting in the Brookside Library at 45th & Peoria (the photos with tiled floors and blue walls).  Over the past two years we have had guest speakers like Chris Brown from ORU, Randy Wimer from TCC and NSU, and guitar luthier Johnny Walker from Bartlesville as well as a tango demonstration by Tony Nuspl from Argentine Tango of Tulsa and looping demonstrations by Louis Drapp, Jeffrey Hiatt-Frink, and Randy Wimer.  We've also had unexpected performances on fiddle by the Pendleton Family Fiddlers and violin by James Ruggles.  This is all in addition to over 100 performances by local guitarists, guitar students, and guitar enthusiasts, of course.  You never know what's going to happen at a TGS meeting so make plans now to attend the next one!
